
Apple baked in kataifi
Sweet dessert with apple, almond paste, and kataifi pastry.Ingredients
1small hand apple
kataifi dough
Cinnamon powder
Butter
Jagertee
Almond paste
Preparation
- Peel the apple and remove the core.
- Bring Jagertee with a bit of cinnamon powder to a boil and gently cook the apple in it. Let it cool in the liquid.
- Let the kataifi dough thaw and pull it apart.
- Melt butter with a little cinnamon powder and brush the dough well with it.
- Remove the apple from the liquid, fill with almond paste, and roll in the kataifi dough.
- Bake at 180°C until crispy and hot (about 8 minutes).
- Serve with vanilla ice cream as a dessert.
- Tip: you can prepare the apples mise-en-place, so you only need to bake them before serving.
