Spring onion and cherry

Spring onion cooked in cherry purée.

Ingredients

5cabernet-sauvignon wine vinegar
1cherry purée
spring onions
spices (of choice)
a bit of honey

Preparation

  1. Reduce the vinegar with the cherry puree, honey, and spices.
  2. Clean the spring onions (save the greens for other preparations).
  3. Sauté the onions in a little oil and salt while frying.
  4. Then gently cook them in the cherry mixture and let them cool in the liquid.
