Baked Camembert with figs, walnuts and pistachios

This recipe serves 4 people as a snack with drinks or as part of a cheese board. Preparation takes five minutes. Oven time: 15 to 20 minutes.

4Fig jam or preserve

35gShelled pistachios
35gwalnuts
sliced baguette or crackers

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C. Put the fig jam or preserve in a microwave-safe bowl and heat it for 30 seconds in the microwave to soften the jam.
  2. Cut the dried figs into strips and roughly chop the nuts.
  3. Mix the dried figs with the nuts in a small bowl.
  4. Add half of the jam and stir well so the nuts are coated with the jam mixture.
  5. Place the camembert in the Cheese Baker, cut into the rind and spread the remaining jam over the camembert. Then cover the camembert with the fig and nut mixture.
  6. Place the filled Cheese Baker in the oven and bake for 15 to 20 minutes at 180°C.
  7. Serve the Cheese Baker on the stand with a tealight to keep the cheese nice and warm and runny.
  8. Serve with tasty crackers or sliced baguette.
