
Filliers Whisky Sour
Classic whisky sour with Filliers rye, fresh lemon and creamy egg white, perfectly balanced and full of character.Ingredients
Ice cubes
3Fresh lemon juice
1Egg white
2Sugar syrup
5Filliers Single Rye Whisky 8YO
Peychaud's Bitters
Preparation
- Fill a tumbler glass with ice cubes to chill the glass in advance.
- Take a shaker and pour in 5 cl Filliers Single Rye Whisky 8YO.
- Add 3 cl fresh lemon juice.
- Add 2 cl sugar syrup for the right balance.
- Add the egg white from 1 egg for a creamy texture.
- Add a dash of Peychaud's Bitters for depth of flavor.
- Close the shaker and first perform a 'dry shake' (without ice) so the egg white mixes well and becomes airy.
- Then add ice to the shaker and shake for about 10-15 seconds to chill the cocktail well.
- Strain the contents of the shaker into the chilled tumbler glass with ice cubes.
