Baked harissa vegan mince with roasted nuts, onions, served with hummus and flatbread

This baked harissa of vegan mince, roasted nuts and onions is served with flatbread and hummus. This Lebanese recipe is for 10 people.

Ingredients

8Garlic cloves
1Honey
1Cinnamon
4Harissa
1Cumin seed
4Red onion
100mlOlive oil
Black pepper
600mlWater
2ground coriander
Salt
50gFlat-leaf parsley
1kgHummus
100groasted almonds
10flatbreads
400gpomegranate seeds (can be frozen)
800gGarden Gourmet® Vegan Minced
1liquid fond Asian

Preparation

  1. Peel and slice the onions thinly.
  2. Crumble the garlic and sauté it in a large pan with olive oil and red onions over medium heat for 5 minutes without browning.
  3. Add the vegan mince, all spices, honey, and harissa and stir well.
  4. Add Liquid Concentrate Asian and water, cook until the liquid has almost evaporated. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Spread some hummus on 10 plates and place the vegan mince on top. Garnish with pomegranate seeds, chopped parsley, and almonds. Serve with flatbread.
