
Oven-baked stuffed Kingfish
We may find the highest quality fish in our own waters. We are talking about ‘Kingfish Dutch Yellowtail’.Kingfish, also known as Hiramasa, is often imported from Japan and Australia, but this Dutch Yellowtail is farmed on land in waters from the Eastern Scheldt in Zeeland.
Ingredients
1Gutted Kingfish with head (800 to 1000 grams)
Preparation
- Rinse the fish inside and out with water.
- Preheat the oven to 200°C.
- Fill the fish with herbs to taste (and/or slices of lemon).
- Rub the whole fish with salt, pepper, and olive oil (skin, head, tail).
- Place the fish in an oven dish.
- Place the fish in the middle of the oven for 20 minutes.
