Honey & Ginger Highball

Refreshing highball with anCnoc whisky, honey, lemon and ginger ale. Served with lemon, mint and red currants.

Ingredients

Red currants
Ice cubes
Lemon slice
10mlFreshly squeezed lemon juice
Mint sprig
15mlLiquid honey
150mlGinger ale
50mlanCnoc 12YO Single Malt Whisky

Preparation

  1. Gather all the ingredients and make sure you have a tall glass (highball glass) ready.
  2. Fill the highball glass with ice cubes until well filled.
  3. Add the honey and freshly squeezed lemon juice to the glass.
  4. Stir gently with a spoon or cocktail stirrer so the honey dissolves well in the lemon juice.
  5. Pour the whisky over the ice and honey-lemon mix.
  6. Carefully top up the glass with ginger ale. This prevents the drink from foaming too much.
  7. Gently stir the ingredients to mix everything well.
  8. Garnish with a slice of lemon, red currants, or a sprig of fresh mint.
