Japanese karaage slider

Japanese slider with crispy karaage, yakitori sauce, pointed cabbage, spring onion, and two types of mayo on a sesame bun. Topped with teriyaki crunch.Sliders are mini burgers to share! Ingredients

Spring onion
Mini hamburger buns sesame
Fresh sweet and sour pointed cabbage
Yakitori sauce
Karaage
Garlic-sriracha mayo
Kewpie Japanese mayonnaise
Teriyaki crunch

Preparation

  1. Bake the buns for 2 minutes in the oven at 200°C.
  2. Cut the bun in half and spread the top with garlic-sriracha mayo and the bottom with Kewpie Japanese mayonnaise.
  3. Fry the karaage and then mix with a little yakitori sauce.
  4. Top the bun with a leaf of iceberg lettuce and some sweet and sour pointed cabbage.
  5. Place the warm karaage on top and garnish with teriyaki crunch and finely chopped spring onion.
  6. Finally, drizzle some Kewpie and garlic-sriracha mayo crisscross over the top bun.
