Obazda pani puri with bock beer

Pani puri filled with a creamy camembert mousse, smoked paprika, cumin, and barbecue crumble.

Bites, finger food, amuse-bouches... call it what you will. One thing is certain: this is how you start dinner in style.

Ingredients

50gShallot
Salt
1Cumin powder
150gCream cheese (natural)
240gCamembert
80gButter
2Smoked paprika powder
Mini pani puri
Barbecue crumble
4Bock beer (of choice)

Preparation

  1. Cut the shallot, camembert, and butter into small pieces.
  2. Mix all ingredients, except the pani puri and crumble, in the food processor and season with salt.
  3. Fry the pani puri and continuously sprinkle with hot oil during frying.
  4. Fill the pani puri with the mixture, serve on the BBQ crumble, and finish with cress and extra crumble.
