Skewer of sausage, rice cake and a glaze of gochujang. We finish the skewers with various types of toppings.A very well-known dish in Korea. Truly a typical street food dish! Traditionally made with hot dogs; from sweet to spicy. After frying, you can top the sotteok with various toppings. We like to use sesame, sweet and sour onion, and crème fraîche for this.
Ingredients

chipolata
hotdog
chistorras
Frankfurter bacon
150ggochujang
4Honey
8Ketchup
2Sesame oil
topping 1: sweet and sour onion
topping 2: crème fraîche
topping 2: chives, finely chopped
topping 3: spring onion, finely chopped
topping 1: wasabi sesame seeds
topping 4: black sesame seeds
Preparation
- Soak the rice cakes in hot water for at least 10 minutes.
- Cut the sausages to the desired size.
- Thread the sausages and rice cakes alternately onto the skewer.
- Fry the skewers over medium heat until golden brown.
- Brush the sauce on both sides and cook a little longer so the sauce adheres nicely.
- Top the skewers with the desired topping.
