A spicy tiki cocktail with Bandoeng’22, Bobby’s Gin, and Galliano: tropical, aromatic, and finished with a touch of spekkoek.The Bandoeng’22 Sling cocktail was developed by mixologist Thijn Koning. The Singapore Sling is a true Tiki classic: an exotic cocktail with multiple types of alcohol, fruit juices and liqueurs, spicy notes and bitters. Tiki drinks are known for their pronounced flavors – and Bandoeng’22 fits perfectly with that. This variant is just a bit spicier than the traditional Singapore Sling. The classic London Dry Gin is replaced by Bobby’s Gin (with Indonesian botanicals), while the cherry brandy makes way for Bandoeng’22. The D.O.M. Bénédictine is also swapped for Galliano L’Autentico, whose vanilla and star anise-like notes pair beautifully with the sweeter flavors of Bandoeng’22.
