Surprising savory waffle with spinach and smoked salmon.

Ingredients

180gLiquid (water, stock, vegetable juice, etc.)
15gIcing sugar
4gNeutral oil
150gSifted flour

Spinach
Smoked salmon
Lime mayonnaise

Preparation

  1. Mix everything with a whisk to make a batter.
  2. Grease the waffle maker with pan coating (33321138).
  3. Spoon the batter onto the iron, close, and bake the waffle.
  4. Shape them into the desired form while still warm.

  1. Blanch a handful of spinach and then squeeze out the moisture.
  2. Mix this in the food processor with the basic waffle batter until you have a green batter. (see the video for the basic batter).
  3. Mix smoked salmon pieces into the batter and pour a small ladleful onto the waffle iron and bake into a waffle.
  4. Serve with lime mayonnaise.
