Seated by a crackling fireplace, it's time to enjoy a robust beer. Slufter Bok is a sturdy and powerful bock beer, ruby red, full of flavor thanks to the 6 types of roasted barley malt. This top-fermented beer, with 7% alcohol, is warming during the cold period on the island of Texel. The many types of roasted malt provide a colorful palette of flavors of caramel, coffee, and a hint of laurel. The brewers of the Tesselaar still use real hop cones. This results in the soft bitter tones in this dark beer. The ideal drinking temperature is around 8 degrees in our beautiful slender Tesselaar glass. Slufter Bok owes its name to the beautiful nature in the Slufter! Where the sea still has free rein daily and you are repeatedly surprised by the beauty of this nature reserve.
