La BIO IDEA pasta is made in Sicily by Fattoria Barbagallo, a family business founded in 1911. The Barbagallos have been making the most delicious Italian pasta in an artisanal way for almost 100 years from the best durum wheat from Sicily. Angelo Barbagallo, from the third generation, now reigns over the pasta factory, where the wheat is fully processed from grain kernels to the packaged pasta. Barbagallo personally assesses the wheat quality, grinds the flour in 24 steps, and slowly dries the shaped pasta at a low temperature. All of this is essential for the final quality of la BIO IDEA pasta.
