Eye of round steak is wonderfully tender. The eye of round steak is more tender than regular steak because it is cut from the eye of the top round of the beef. This part of the beef has fewer muscles than the 'regular' steak. Eye of round steak has a high meat quality. A recommendation is to fry the eye of round steak with extra virgin olive oil and some pepper and salt. Do not cook the meat too long, as it will become tough. Eye of round steak goes well with a red wine.
