The mini-Mediterranean walnut is developed in the in-house sausage factory of HANOS butcher Van der Zee. The sausage is prepared according to a Mediterranean recipe from lean pork, bacon, Mediterranean herbs, and is enriched with fine pieces of walnut. The mini-Mediterranean is dried for at least three weeks in the conditioned drying rooms of Van der Zee. The walnut, herbs, and meat provide a surprisingly tasty sausage.
Tip: slicing into thin slices at room temperature gives the optimal flavor.
