The light, lean meat of the Burgundian free-range chicken fits excellently in, for example, a spring menu. The free-range chicken is kept in an animal-friendly, small-scale, and traditional manner. The barns in the Veluwe have free access to the meadows. The chicks grow at their own pace and can, when they are a bit older, forage for their own food in the open air. The meat has a two-star Better Life Label.
