Pink Lady is a bicolored apple with a dominant color ranging from pastel pink to red. The Pink Lady has a thin skin, is round and uniform in shape. The flesh is cream-white, crunchy, firm, and juicy. The apple is excellent for use in dishes. The texture is the biggest advantage, as this apple withstands quick or long cooking, does not break, and is easy to work with. Uncooked, Pink Lady's are fresh and crunchy ingredients in a salad.
In the period November/May, the apple comes from Europe, outside of that it is grown in the southern hemisphere. You can store a Pink Lady at room temperature for 8 to 15 days.
