The black pollock is a haddock-like fish and swims at a depth of up to 350 meters. The fish can grow up to 135 centimeters long and weigh 30 kilos. The color of the skin is dark gray on the back to light gray on the belly side. The black pollock is an underrated fish with white flesh with a coarse texture. Fresh black pollock has a delicious taste and is therefore suitable for various culinary preparations.
