The lobsters from Pittman Seafoods are fished at two times of the year: in the spring in Canada and in the fall in the USA. The lobster tails we offer are part of our 100% worry-free sustainable range. The lobsters are caught and processed during the best period of the year, when the quality and yield are highest.
The texture, taste, and juiciness are equal to that of a live lobster, 100% natural and no additives. Through the UHP process (ultra high pressure), the raw meat can easily be removed from the shell, the meat does not stick, and thus you get the optimal yield. By using only the tails, you have no waste from the head and legs. This is the most economical way to put lobster on your menu. Additionally, you have a fixed price for a longer period, which makes calculation easy.
