Caramol originated in the shadows of the French pine trees, at one of the most exclusive beach clubs on the Côte d’Azur. The unconventional bartenders of the illustrious beach cabana were the ones who came up with the idea of dissolving chunks of rich French caramel in pure, high-quality vodka. They never put it on the menu, choosing instead to keep it for themselves. Being discreetly offered one as a guest meant you had entered the inner circle of the happy few. The recipe eventually found its way to the Netherlands, where Caramol is now distilled for the happy many.
