16.1 is made from 100% Scottish Concerto barley, malted to 101.4 ppm and aged for 5 years in cask, with an alcohol content of 59.3%. This elegant liquid matures in first-fill bourbon casks, resulting in intense peat smoke with a surprising delicacy. Salted caramel, honeydew melon, and apricot transition into chocolate and coconut, accompanied by a gentle wave of earthy minerality and lingering smoke.
