Theo Preiss founded his small, artisanal distillery in the heart of Alsace in 1945. In 1975, the company decided to sell the carefully crafted brandies under the name of its founder. Since then, the distillery has continued to grow both in the French and international markets. This small company with about ten employees all have the same primary goal: to produce the best possible brandy with fruit of excellent quality that is harvested at optimal ripeness. The terroir, location, and cultural conditions are also part of the process. Equipment in 'old world' style, traditional and high quality, is still used.
