The business card of Piper-Heidsieck Champagnes, the Cuvée Brut, consists mainly of Pinot Noir. Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay also play an important role in this balanced cuvée. Strictly selected wines from different years are added to ensure that the taste remains consistent year after year. Piper-Heidsieck Cuvée Brut has aged for 24 to 30 months. Tastes lively and fresh and has a characteristic finish with an Oriental flavor. This champagne scored 92 points in Wine Spectator and won no less than two silver medals at both the IWC and the IWSC. A bright, golden Champagne with fine bubbles as a result of a longer aging time. A structured, full, and frank wine. A juicy, fleshy pear and golden grape texture. Fresh fruit dominates, with pear and russet apple, and a few hints of citrus fruits, such as starfruit. The finish is reminiscent of fresh grapes, enlivened with a touch of freshness and anise.
