The grapes for the Mas des Mas Montpellier grow on the best soil west and east of Montpellier. The climate is maritime with plenty of sunshine and warmth. The vines are between 15 and 25 years old and are on a soil of clay and slate with a top layer of limestone pebbles. This red wine (grenache, syrah, cinsault, and mourvèdre) bursts with ripe black fruit, has relatively few tannins, and therefore tastes wonderfully round and creamy.
