The grapes for this wine grow in the northern part of the Chinon area, in Savigny-en-Véron. The subsoil of the vineyards is mainly gravel and usually has exposure to the north/south sun. Fermentation takes place for 15 days on the skins and is pumped over twice a day. This is followed by pressing and the final fermentation of the clear juice and the malolactic fermentation in barrels. The wine matures in stainless steel tanks and is regularly pumped over. This bright ruby red wine has intense, refined, and fruity aromas. There are nuances of cherries, strawberries, and spicy notes. On the palate, it has a subtle onset and a fruity, light structure. The finish is fresh and aromatic.
