La Baie Orientale Red is an expressive and refined red wine that harmoniously combines power and suppleness. Made from perfectly ripe grapes from a sun-drenched terroir, this wine embodies the warmth of the south with a surprisingly elegant structure.
In the glass, the wine displays a deep ruby red color. On the nose, aromas of ripe cherries, blackcurrants, and plums dominate, with subtle hints of vanilla, spices, and a touch of Mediterranean herbs. The palate is velvety, round, and fruity, with soft tannins and a fine balance between ripe fruitiness and a light spiciness. The finish is smooth and pleasant, with a hint of licorice and cocoa.
Excellent when paired with rack of lamb, truffle risotto, game dishes, or refined cheeses.
