This wine is made in the special recioto method, which means that the grapes must first dry in the sun after harvest and may only be fermented from January 1 of the following year. The grape varieties are rondinella, molinara, and corvina. Wines made in this way often have a significant amount of sweetness. This wine has aromas of chocolate, black fruit, and spices. In the mouth, this wine also has a good balance between sweetness and the firm tannins.
