The maturation takes place over 18 months in large French oak barriques, one third of which are new. The concentrated wine has an incredibly intense aromatic profile with chocolate and white truffle. You will taste plums, spices, earthy notes, and sweet tobacco. In addition, the wine is even more floral than usual: violets, lilies, lavender, and rose petal. Hints of orange in the background, followed by raspberries, red cherries, and blueberries. Mocha, cedar, and spices dance across the palate. The wine is energetic, juicy, refined, and layered.
