The rosé port from Royal Oporto is made with two typical grape varieties, namely the Touriga Franca and Touriga Nacional. As the name suggests, this port has a beautiful bright rosé color. This is achieved by removing the pulp after pressing. Fermentation is then initiated with the pure grape juice. This port is best served at a temperature of 10°C to 12°C, but is also delicious in cocktails. Example cocktail: 1 part rosé port, 1 part tonic, slice of lemon or lime, a few mint leaves, and a few ice cubes. Another example cocktail: 1 part rosé port, 1 part white lemonade, 2 tablespoons mixed berries, a few mint leaves, and a few ice cubes.
