Parmigiano Reggiano is a world-famous cheese, made according to centuries-old traditions and rich in calcium, vitamin A, B, and proteins. Both the production of the milk and the cheeses takes place in the provinces of Parma, Reggio Emilia, Modena, Bologna west of the Reno river, and Mantua east of the Po. All of this is monitored and controlled by the Consortium. Parmareggio aged 30 months is a special cheese with a strong, yet well-balanced flavor and an intensely persistent aroma. The best quality milk and extra-long aging make this cheese exceptionally good. Delicious with a good glass of wine and in many culinary creations.
