
Asparagus ladyfingers
These asparagus bokkepootjes not only look fantastic, they also taste fantastic!Ingredients
White asparagus
1bag of panko (breadcrumbs)
smoked sesame seeds
Egg white
Aluminum foil
Preparation
- Peel white asparagus and cook until tender in salted water. Then pat them dry.
- Put a bag of panko in a blender and blend until completely fine. Then mix in some smoked sesame seeds. Wrap the bottom half of the asparagus in aluminum foil. Dip the top half in beaten egg white and coat in the panko mixture.
- Deep-fry the asparagus at 180°C until the panko is light brown.
- Remove the aluminum foil and serve.
