Serve the babas in a rum syrup in a preserving jar. Add bowls with vanilla ice cream, vanilla sauce, and whipped cream; end the dinner on a festive note!Ingredients

Preparation
- Scrape the seeds from the vanilla pod.
- Heat water with the sugar, orange juice, and the vanilla.
- Bring to a boil until the sugar is dissolved.
- Remove from the heat and add the rum and orange peel.
- Let cool.
- Place the babas (1 baba per person) in the syrup until they are fully soaked.
