Barbecued watermelon with a salad of sugar lettuce and grapefruit

It doesn't get more summery than this: watermelon from the barbecue. The approximate cost price per person is €1.75.

The watermelon is impregnated with smoked olive oil and vacuum-sealed. This makes the watermelon firm and easy to grill whole. Thanks to the smoky flavor in the oil, the watermelon does not need to be grilled for long. Vacuum-sealing also extends the shelf life of the melon and makes it easy to prepare in advance. Delicious with a salad of sugarloaf lettuce and red grapefruit.
