
Bread basket with cheese
A cheese dessert is the festive finale of the dinner. And to make it even more festive, the cheeses are presented in a basket made of bread.Everyone gets their own board and knife, with syrup and honey on the side, a nice glass of port, and just enjoy.
Ingredients
250mlWarm water
45mlNeutral oil
50gSugar
1Egg
egg yolk (for brushing)
500gSifted flour
7gyeast powder
Preparation
- Mix the yeast with the water and sugar in a bowl.
- Add egg and oil and mix.
- Add the flour and mix.
- Knead everything well (about 10 minutes) until an elastic dough forms.
- Let rise covered for 90 minutes at room temperature.
- Line a round baking dish with aluminum foil and brush with a little oil.
- Divide the dough with a cutter and roll into balls.
- Distribute these dough balls in the dish.
- Brush the whole with egg yolk and bake at 200°C for about 20 minutes.
