
Clafoutis with amarena cherries and chocolate ice cream
This clafoutis is ideal for sharing.This holiday season, 'sharing' is central. Eating together is simply the most fun. During Christmas dinner, a dessert in the middle of the table is perfect for sharing.
Ingredients
700mlMilk
300gFlour
140gCane sugar
400gAmarena cherries
2Vanilla pods
8Eggs
Mascarpone cream
Chocolate ice cream
butter for greasing
Preparation
- Halve the vanilla pod lengthwise, scrape out the seeds, and put them in a saucepan with the milk. Heat to about 40°C and let infuse briefly.
- Mix the sugar, flour, and eggs.
- Remove the vanilla pod from the milk and pour the milk over the sugar mixture.
- Grease a dish with butter and pour the clafoutis mixture into the dish.
- Distribute the amarena cherries over the mixture in the dish.
- Bake the clafoutis in the oven at 180°C for about 1 hour.
- Serve with chocolate ice cream and whipped cream with mascarpone.
