Filo pastry with asparagus

Of course, asparagus prepared in the classic way is delicious, but if you want to try something different, this 'asparagus aperitif' is also a good option.

Ingredients

Herb butter
green and white asparagus (cooked and cut into pieces)
Filo pastry
légumaise herb mayonnaise

Preparation

  1. Cut the filo pastry into narrow strips.
  2. Melt the herb butter over low heat.
  3. Brush a sheet of pastry with the herb butter and place a new sheet of pastry on top.
  4. Repeat this 3 times, so you end up with four sheets stacked.
  5. Also brush the top with herb butter.
  6. Roll up the filo pastry and bake the rolls at 180°C.
  7. Serve the asparagus and légumaise between two rolls.
