Gua Bao with pulled chicken, coriander and butterhead lettuce

Asian steamed bun with flavorful pulled chicken, coriander, and butterhead lettuce.The sous-vide preparation afterwards ensures that the bacon literally melts on your tongue... Ingredients

1Red onion
1chopped coriander
ketjap manis
gua bao's
1green herb crumble
1Butterhead lettuce
Soy sauce
150gPulled chicken

Preparation

  1. Finely chop half of the red onion and cut the other half into half rings.
  2. Sauté the onion and add the pulled chicken, seasoning with soy sauce and ketjap manis.
  3. Steam the buns.
  4. Wash and pick the butter lettuce and place it in the steamed bun.
  5. Spoon the pulled chicken inside.
  6. Add a few pieces of red onion on top and finally sprinkle with the crumble and chopped coriander.
