
Herb cake with hot smoked salmon
Delicious as a warm starter.Ingredients
50gfresh samphire
300gFlour
100gWarm smoked salmon
300mlButtermilk
2Eggs
salty fingers
Pepper and salt
20gFlat-leaf parsley
9gBaking soda
75gMelted butter
Preparation
- Sift the flour together with the baking soda. Mix this in the food processor with the eggs, buttermilk, samphire, and parsley to make a batter.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Spoon some of this batter into a silicone mold, add some picked salmon, and fill the molds ¾ full with the batter.
- Bake at 180°C for 10 to 12 minutes.
- Serve as a warm starter with salty fingers.
