Herb egg toast

Of course, asparagus prepared in the classic way is delicious, but if you want to try something different, this 'asparagus aperitif' is also a good option.

Ingredients

Herb butter
Fresh eggs
Fresh herbs
green and white asparagus (cooked and cut into pieces)
kitchen foil
Brioche bread

Preparation

  1. Slice the bread and cut out rounds. Dip the rounds in the melted herb butter and fry them until crispy in a pan.
  2. Beat an egg and season with pepper and salt.
  3. Mix the asparagus into the egg and sprinkle the herbs over it. Pour the mixture onto kitchen foil and fold it closed upwards.
  4. Place the package in a pan with boiling water and let the egg mixture cook. This takes about 4 minutes.
  5. Remove the egg from the foil and serve it on the toast.
