Patties of Chinese cabbage

Delicious as a garnish or small snack!

Ingredients

1units.itemsShallot
1units.itemsChinese cabbage
1garlic clove
2units.itemsEggs
56gFlour
Pepper and salt
Flat-leaf parsley
Parmesan cheese (finely grated)

Preparation

  1. Clean the Chinese cabbage.
  2. Remove the core and finely slice the cabbage.
  3. Wash the finely sliced cabbage.
  4. Cook the cabbage in salted water for 10 minutes.
  5. Drain in a sieve.
  6. Finely chop one shallot and one clove of garlic and sauté in oil.
  7. Mix this with the cabbage.
  8. Beat the eggs and add them.
  9. Add the flour.
  10. Finely chop some parsley and mix it in.
  11. Grate some Parmesan cheese over it.
  12. Season with salt and pepper.
  13. Mix everything well and let it set in the fridge for 30 minutes.
  14. Form the 'patties' with a tablespoon and fry them on both sides until crispy and brown in oil.
