We may get the highest quality fish from our own waters. We are talking about ‘Kingfish Dutch Yellowtail’.Kingfish, also known as Hiramasa, is often imported from Japan and Australia, but this Dutch Yellowtail is farmed on land in waters from the Oosterschelde in Zeeland.
Ingredients
Soy sauce
Wasabi
Kingfish Dutch Yellowtail - fillet, loin, skinless
pickled ginger
Preparation
- Place the fish fillet on a clean cutting board and cut it into diagonal slices 7 to 9 mm thick.
- Arrange the slices on a serving plate.
- Serve with a small bowl of soy sauce (a dash of wasabi and/or pickled ginger to taste).
