Spanish slider with breaded mussels

Mediterranean slider with aioli, Spanish tortilla with chorizo, crispy mussels, manchego and lettuce on a rustic bun. Full of Spanish flair!Sliders are mini burgers to share! Ingredients

Manchego
Mini rustic white rolls
Suiker lettuce
Spanish tortilla with chorizo
Allioli sauce
Breaded mussels

Preparation

  1. Let the rolls thaw and then bake them for 6 to 8 minutes in the oven at 200°C.
  2. Slice the bread in half and spread both halves with aioli.
  3. Cut rounds from the tortilla, slightly smaller than the roll, and cut these in half (for thin slices).
  4. Grate some manchego over the tortilla and heat in the oven at 200°C until the cheese has melted.
  5. Fry the mussels.
  6. Top the roll with some lettuce and place the warm tortilla slices with melted cheese on top.
  7. Distribute the crispy mussels over it and finally grate plenty of extra manchego on top.
