Steamed bun with pork belly, Kara Age and smoked sriracha

With this recipe from Hekos, you are guaranteed to serve something delicious and special at the table.

Tip: the steamed buns from Hekos are also available in orange, white, and in a mini variant.

Ingredients

Pork belly piri piri sous-vide cooked
Kara age Hekos
Siracha smoked chili sauce
steamed bun yellow Hekos
steamed bun black Hekos
steamed bun red Hekos
Red onion
Suiker lettuce
Mustard cress

Preparation

  1. Slice the pork belly and cook in a pan or on the barbecue.
  2. Steam the buns in a steamer basket or in the steamer.
  3. Slice the sugarloaf lettuce and red onion and place on the bun.
  4. Place the pork belly on the lettuce and serve with sriracha mayonnaise.
  5. Finally, sprinkle a few sprigs of mustard cress over the buns.

  1. Fry the Kara Age according to the instructions on the box and serve with the smoked sriracha chili sauce.
