Tonkatsu

Tonkatsu is a Japanese dish of breaded pork with the well-known, fresh tonkatsu sauce. We made this version with chicken.

Ingredients

Coconut milk
tonkatsu sauce
tatsuta chicken bite, garlic and ginger
White rice
Spring onion

Preparation

  1. Warm a little tonkatsu sauce.
  2. Deep-fry tatsuta (breaded chicken thighs) in oil until crispy.
  3. Glaze the tatsuta in the sauce and sprinkle with some spring onion.
  4. Serve with white rice cooked in stock with coconut milk and a fresh noodle salad.
