
Onions in basil
Crispy deep-fried onion rings in basil batter.Ingredients
Tempura flour
large onions
Milk
1bunch of basil
carbonated water
Preparation
- Peel the onions and slice into rings. Gently cook in milk until just tender, then pat very dry.
- Put the tempura mix and basil leaves in the food processor. Turn on the machine and, while running, pour in cold sparkling water until a nice batter forms. Dip the onions in the batter, fry, season with salt, and serve.
