A tribute to René Lindemans, the 5th generation of the Lindemans family. Created to celebrate René’s 85th birthday! "Dark" refers to the beautiful dark color of the lambic. This traditional lambic, with natural refermentation in the bottle, owes its stunning dark color to the innovative use of roasted wheat. After maturing for 2 years in an oak foeder, it was further refined for another year in 20-year-old oak cognac barrels. This results in a perfect combination of the fresh, sour taste of lambic and the subtle cognac note—powerful and complex—that enchants both the nose and the palate.
