Guatemala is one of the larger coffee-producing countries in Central America. Our Guatemala Antigua Pastoral comes from Antigua, an area that perhaps produces the most appreciated coffee of these four. Antigua is located in a fertile valley, nestled between no less than three volcanoes. At an altitude of up to 2200 meters, the Guatemala Antigua Pastoral coffee plant grows in a constant climate nourished by the rich soil with a humidity level of 65%. Numerous trees surrounding the plantations protect the plants from both the heat and the cold winter nights from December to February.
