Ras el hanout is a classic and very well-known Moroccan spice mix. Freely translated, ras el hanout means 'head of the shop'. This mix always contains some fenugreek and rose petal. The spice mix is a flavor enhancer for lamb dishes, hummus, tagines, chicken, couscous, but also for barbecue marinades.
