This raw ham with IGP (Indicazione Geografica Protetta) origin guarantee comes from, among other places, the town of Norcia in the Italian province of Perugia. Already in ancient times, this region was renowned for its dried raw ham. The ham is exclusively sourced from Italian pigs from the immediate vicinity and is fully controlled by the consortium. After a drying period of at least 18 months, each ham is individually inspected before it receives the IGP logo. Prosciutto di Norcia has a mild and soft taste.
